## **Billing items and pricing** The official commercial version enables end\-to\-end construction of multimodal search and recommendation capabilities. Recommendation API calls: 10,000 times | ## **Billing instructions** **Settlement and invoicing:** The AI search engine (free trial version) uses a monthly subscription (prepaid) billing model. When you activate the service, you will place an order for a monthly subscription package. This package does not support renewal or repeated orders. Additionally, the free trial version is configured with quota limits and does not allow exceeding the quota. Once you have ordered the free trial version, your account will permanently be unable to activate the free trial version again. You can place orders for the monthly subscription package as normal. ## **Service activation, cancellation, expiration, and upgrade** **Service activation:** Before using the AI search engine (free trial version) for the first time, you need to activate the service. When activating the service, you must agree to the relevant product agreements, which is considered as your acknowledgment of the service pricing and billing plan. Service activation immediately starts calculating usage generated by the service. **Service cancellation:** The free trial version allows cancellation at any time, but no refunds are provided. After placing an order, you can cancel through [Billing Center] \- [Cancellation Management] \- [Non\-seven\-day unconditional cancellation]. You can also initiate service cancellation by contacting a Volcano Sales representative. We will process your cancellation request as soon as possible and deactivate the AI search engine (free trial version) service within one week. After service cancellation, service resources will be cleared, and any data generated during the testing period cannot be restored. **Service expiration:** The free trial version is only provided to **each account that has completed "enterprise verification"** as **a one\-time**, **one\-month** free trial. **After the trial expires, the product will automatically deactivate the service within 12 hours and reclaim it 24 hours after deactivation.** **Once the service enters shutdown, the platform does not allow upgrades to paid plans. The service resources will be automatically cleaned up after the service is reclaimed, and any data generated during the public beta period cannot be restored.** **Service upgrade:** During the trial phase, the service supports upgrading to paid plans. You can upgrade via the product interface under [Subscription Management] \- [Active Subscriptions]. After upgrading, the service will be billed according to the selected plan. For detailed billing rules, please refer to the corresponding billing documentation. ## **Taxes and invoices** Unless otherwise specified, the service fees under this contract include value\-added tax. During the service provision or product usage period, if national tax policies are adjusted resulting in changes to the value\-added tax rate, the applicable value\-added tax rate for products or services under this contract shall be adjusted accordingly in line with national tax policies, while the tax\-exclusive price remains unchanged. We can issue VAT invoices for the amount shown on your bill. You can apply for a value\-added tax invoice through the Volcano Engine console \- Cost Center \- Invoice Management, or other channels designated and timely notified by Volcano Engine. Upon receiving your invoice application, we will promptly issue the value\-added tax invoice to you. The VAT invoice content and tax rate under this contract are: "Information System Value\-added Service", technical service fee, 6%. If, during the performance of this contract, you need to refund to Volcano Engine and the refunded amount has already been invoiced, you should cooperate in preparing the relevant documents for invoice return and provide them to Volcano Engine. After completing the invoice reversal, Volcano Engine will process the refund.
