如何修复facet_wrap绘图中geom_col条形被坐标轴截断的问题?

解决ggplot2背靠背条形图条形被截断的问题

我用ggplot2绘制背靠背(镜像)条形图时,遇到了条形被绘图区域截断的问题。下面是用mtcars数据集复现问题的代码:

可以看到部分条形被截断,我尝试调整坐标轴范围但会导致条形偏离零点。希望保持现有绘图样式,仅扩展坐标轴使条形不被截断。


解决方案

问题根源是scale_y_continuous(expand = c(0, 0))完全取消了坐标轴的扩展空间,导致条形边缘被截断。我们可以调整扩展参数并设置对称的坐标轴范围,既保留原有样式,又避免截断:

修改后的代码如下:

说明

  • 用max_abs_drat获取数据的最大绝对值,设置对称的坐标轴范围,保证条形不会偏离零点。
  • 基于数据最大值的5%设置缓冲空间,既避免条形被截断,又不会破坏绘图的紧凑感。
  • 保留labels = abs让y轴显示绝对值,维持背靠背条形图的展示效果。
