Bash PS1 嵌入Sixel图像乱码及命令执行问题

乱码效果截图

在Bash的PS1中使用$(cat arch_prompt.sixels)或$(chafa arch_prompt.png)时出现严重乱码,用Sed无法修复。即使移除图像相关代码,仍残留乱码小图标,且Bash会把Sixel代码当作命令执行,导致PS1完全失效。

当前PS1定义:

PS1="$(chafa -f sixels ~/arch_prompt.png)$(ansi --no-restore --color=82)\u$(ansi --no-restore --color=255)@$(ansi --no-restore --color=202)\h $(ansi --no-restore --color=199)\W $(ansi --no-restore --color=20)$ [\e[0m]"

或使用cat ~/arch_prompt.sixels的版本


问题根源

  1. 特殊字符未被正确处理:Sixel序列包含大量终端控制字符,Bash会错误解析这些字符,要么显示乱码,要么当成命令执行。
  2. 子shell即时执行:用双引号定义PS1时,$()里的命令会在定义PS1时就执行并输出结果,而非每次显示提示符时才生成内容,导致Sixel序列被直接硬编码进PS1字符串,引发解析混乱。

解决方法

1. 改用单引号定义PS1

单引号会阻止Bash提前解析子shell命令,让$()里的代码每次显示提示符时才执行:

PS1='$(chafa -f sixels ~/arch_prompt.png)$(ansi --no-restore --color=82)\u$(ansi --no-restore --color=255)@$(ansi --no-restore --color=202)\h $(ansi --no-restore --color=199)\W $(ansi --no-restore --color=20)$ [\e[0m]'

2. 用\[和\]包裹非打印字符

Sixel序列和ANSI颜色码都属于非打印字符,必须用\[和\]包裹,告诉Bash这些字符不占用光标位置,避免提示符错位和乱码:

PS1='\[$(chafa -f sixels ~/arch_prompt.png)\]$(ansi --no-restore --color=82)\u$(ansi --no-restore --color=255)@$(ansi --no-restore --color=202)\h $(ansi --no-restore --color=199)\W $(ansi --no-restore --color=20)$ \[\e[0m\]'

3. 确认终端支持Sixel

不是所有终端都支持Sixel,比如Kitty、Konsole、WezTerm等支持,而部分旧终端不支持。可以先执行以下命令测试:

chafa -f sixels ~/arch_prompt.png

如果直接显示乱码,说明终端不支持,换个支持Sixel的终端即可。

4. 清理残留配置

如果之前错误的PS1已经写入~/.bashrc或~/.bash_profile,先打开文件删除错误定义,再执行source ~/.bashrc重新加载配置,避免残留乱码影响。


优化建议

把Sixel图标生成逻辑封装成函数,让PS1更简洁:
