Python 3.6 Tile Map瓦片地图碰撞检测问题求助
Hey everyone, I'm working on a small game for my AP Econ class and I've hit a wall with collision detection while setting up a tile map following a tutorial. I'm pretty new to Python, so this might be a simple fix that's just going over my head!
I've searched through tons of questions on programming Q&A platforms (mostly this one) but haven't found any solutions that apply to non-manually built maps—meaning I'm not creating the map using a text file or hardcoding a Python list, it's being generated through a map editor/engine setup.
The Problem
My player character can walk straight through water tiles (and any other tiles I've marked as collidable) without stopping at all. The collision logic just doesn't seem to be kicking in.
Relevant Project Components
Here's a breakdown of the key parts of my project:
- Main program: Handles game loop, player input, and core rendering
- Texture loader: Manages loading and storing tile sprites
- Color definitions: Stores RGB values for UI elements and tile base colors
- Global variables: Holds shared game settings like tile size, screen dimensions, and map bounds
- Map engine: Handles tile rendering and map data management
- Map editor: Visual tool I used to create and save the map layout
Additional Context
I followed a YouTube tile map tutorial to build out the base structure, and my folder structure has the main program file at the root, with dedicated subfolders for textures, map files, and the various module scripts.
I'd really appreciate any pointers or fixes you can offer—thanks in advance!
