AWS Lambda中gm模块的composite与dissolve函数无法正常工作求助

I'm working on a small service that composites one image onto another using the gm library. Here's the code I'm using:

gm(srcImage)
  .composite(overlayImage)
  .dissolve('20')
  .geometry('+0+0')
  .write(output, (err) => { console.log(err | ouput); })

This code works exactly as intended on my local machine (Node.js 8.10, macOS High Sierra) — the overlay image blends smoothly with the base image using the dissolve effect:

However, when I deploy this to AWS Lambda, the dissolve effect doesn't apply at all. The overlay is just placed directly on top of the base image without any transparency or blending:

Does anyone have insight into why this is happening, or how I can fix the dissolve effect on Lambda?
