EC2环境下PHP mail()发件成功却出现504 Gateway Time-out错误求助

1. 核心原因：PHP mail() 的阻塞特性导致Nginx超时 #

本地环境下邮件发送快，所以不会触发超时；但EC2上的邮件发送流程（比如SMTP服务器响应、队列处理）可能耗时更长，而mail()是同步阻塞的——它会一直等到邮件发送完成才返回响应，这就超过了Nginx默认的FastCGI超时时间，直接触发504错误。

快速修复：用fastcgi_finish_request()提前返回响应 #

这个函数能让PHP先给Nginx发送完响应，然后在后台继续处理邮件发送，避免超时：

2. 调整Nginx的超时配置（备选方案） #

如果不想改代码，可以直接延长Nginx对PHP请求的超时时间，找到你的站点Nginx配置文件（比如/etc/nginx/sites-available/your-site.conf），在PHP处理的location块里添加：

4. 替代方案：用专业邮件库替代原生mail() #

原生mail()功能简陋且容易阻塞，推荐用PHPMailer或SwiftMailer，它们支持异步发送、SMTP连接超时控制，还能更好地处理错误：
