• Link Tool: Press the L key to activate it immediately—no need to hunt for the icon on the left.

Switching Between the Two Tools #

You’ve got a couple of seamless options here:

1. Keyboard Toggle:
   • If you’re in Pointer mode, hit L to switch straight to Link tool.
   • If you’re in Link mode, press Esc or V to jump back to Pointer.
2. Right-Click Trick: When you’re using the Link tool, right-click anywhere in the blank canvas area—this will automatically switch you back to the Pointer tool without needing to touch the keyboard.
