Gnome Videos（Totem）无法播放MP4视频，缺失解码器且安装工具无法完成安装的问题求助

大家好，我最近碰到个视频播放的棘手问题，想请教下有没有解决思路：

我尝试用Gnome自带的Totem播放器打开MP4文件时彻底失败了，核心问题是提示缺少解码器。具体情况如下：

我用命令启动播放器：

xdg-open some.mp4

Totem弹出的错误提示是：

meta/x-gst-fourcc-mett decoder is required to play the file, but is not installed

我点了弹窗里的“Find in Ubuntu software”选项，系统确实在后台启动了gstreamer-codec-install进程，但这个进程就一直卡着，完全没法完成解码器的安装。

不过奇怪的是，换其他工具却能正常播放这个视频：

• 用gst-play-1.0命令播放毫无问题，输出如下：

• 用ffplay也能成功播放，ffplay的版本信息和启动输出如下：

有没有朋友遇到过类似的情况？或者知道怎么手动安装这个缺失的解码器，让Totem能正常播放视频呢？
