关于Ubuntu Server下载版本选择的疑问
Hey there! Let's clear up your confusion about Ubuntu Server downloads:
First off, the AMD-labeled download you have will definitely work on your Intel server. That "AMD" tag refers to the AMD64 (aka x86_64) architecture, which was originally developed by AMD but is now the standard 64-bit platform used by almost all modern Intel processors too. It's a universal 64-bit build, not exclusive to AMD hardware.
As for finding an "Intel-specific" download: there isn't one for mainstream Intel servers. Ubuntu doesn't separate AMD and Intel builds for the standard x86_64 architecture. The AMD64 version is the right pick for both AMD and Intel 64-bit systems.
The only exception would be if you're dealing with a very old or niche Intel architecture (like Itanium), but that's extremely rare for modern servers. For your regular Intel chip server, go ahead and use the AMD64 download you have—it'll run just fine.
