如何在Google Play为我的应用添加「可比应用可用」跳转提示？是否自动生成？
Hey there! Great question—those "Comparable app available" prompts you see between Facebook Messenger and Messenger Lite aren’t auto-generated by Google Play. They’re set up manually by developers using the Google Play Console. Let me walk you through exactly how to do this for your own apps:
Ensure both apps are under the same Google Play Console account
You can’t link apps from separate developer accounts, so first confirm your main app and its lite/alternative variant are registered to the same account.Access your app’s Store Listing page
Log into Google Play Console, select your main app, then navigate to Store presence > Store listing from the left-hand menu.Locate the "Related apps" section
Scroll down the Store Listing page until you find the "Related apps" section—this is where you’ll connect your alternative app.Add your alternative app to the list
Click the "Add app" button, search for your lite/alternative app using its package name or title, select it, and save your changes. Don’t forget to repeat this process for the lite app’s Store Listing to link back to the main version!Wait for changes to go live
Google Play typically takes a few hours to a day to push these updates to the public store pages. Once processed, users will see the cross-promotion prompt linking between your two app versions.
Key Things to Keep in Mind:
- Google enforces policies around related apps—make sure the linked apps are genuine alternatives (like a full-featured app vs. a data/resource-light variant). Linking unrelated apps could lead to policy violations.
- The exact wording of the prompt might shift a bit with Google’s UI updates, but the core functionality comes from manually linking the apps in the console.
