We’ve hit a frustrating roadblock with our application during UI workflow execution: it’s throwing a XAResource recovery information not serializable exception that completely blocks users from completing their tasks.

Current Status & Temporary Production Fix #

• We haven’t yet pinpointed the root cause of this recurring error.
• For now, the only reliable temporary fix in production is restarting the JVM—this clears the issue immediately, but it inevitably comes back later.

What We’ve Tried (And Why It Didn’t Stick) #

The first time this error was reported, it was triggered when executing a SELECT COUNT SQL query via an iBatis mapper class. We assumed the problem was with the iBatis object itself, so we updated the AlertInboxExample class to implement the Serializable interface. Unfortunately, the exact same exception has reoccurred since then.
