基于AWS的Web服务健康状态自动邮件告警实现方案咨询
Alternative Approaches
If CloudWatch doesn't align with your workflow, here are two solid alternatives:
AWS Lambda + EventBridge + SES
This gives you full control over the logic:
- Create a Lambda function that calls your
/getStatusAPI, parses the JSON, and checks for anomalies. If errors are found, use AWS Simple Email Service (SES) to send an alert email. - Use Amazon EventBridge (formerly CloudWatch Events) to trigger the Lambda function on a schedule (e.g., every 5 minutes).
- Note: You'll need to validate your sender/receiver emails in SES (and move out of the SES sandbox if you need to send to unvalidated addresses) and grant Lambda permissions to access SES and your EC2 API.
Prometheus + Grafana (Self-Hosted)
If you prefer open-source tools:
- Write a simple script or use a custom exporter to scrape the
/getStatusendpoint and expose metrics in Prometheus format. - Configure Prometheus to pull these metrics, then set up alert rules in Grafana to trigger email notifications when anomalies are detected.
- This is ideal if you already have a Prometheus/Grafana stack running and want to integrate your service status into it.
