I'm building a project with Visual Studio 2015 Community Edition and trying to integrate the jQuery DataTables plugin. I’ve followed every step from the setup tutorials, but the plugin still won’t activate when the page loads.

Oddly enough, the bootbox plugin I installed alongside it works perfectly—so I know my basic package installation and script bundling setup isn’t completely broken. I’m stuck troubleshooting why DataTables isn’t kicking in, and I’m ready to share my code snippets and screenshots to help narrow down the issue.

Steps I’ve Already Tried #

• Successfully installed the jquery.datatables package via NuGet Package Manager
• Added the required DataTables scripts and styles to my bundle.config file
• Confirmed the bundled resources are being referenced in my layout page (no console errors about missing files)
• Tested standard DataTables initialization code on my target page

If anyone has encountered similar issues with DataTables in VS 2015, or can point out common setup pitfalls I might have overlooked, I’d really appreciate your input!
