HP ZBook 17 G4（英伟达显卡）屏幕背光调节问题求助

I’ve spent hours scouring through forums trying to fix my screen backlight issue on the HP ZBook 17 G4, but I haven’t come across any posts specifically addressing this model. Figured I’d post here to see if anyone has run into the same problem or has a solution!

My Current Backlight Problems #

• When I use the keyboard brightness adjustment keys, the on-screen display shows the brightness level changing, but the actual screen backlight stays exactly the same.
• Manually writing values to /sys/class/backlight/acpi_video0/brightness doesn’t have any effect on the backlight.
• The xbacklight tool is also useless here—running commands like xbacklight -set 50 does nothing visible.

Steps I’ve Already Tried (With No Luck) #

• Modified the GRUB configuration file, adding parameters like acpi_osi=Linux and video.use_native_backlight=1 to GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT, so it looks like this:

  GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash acpi_osi=Linux video.use_native_backlight=1"
  

• Tried other common GRUB backlight-related parameters, such as acpi_backlight=vendor and acpi_backlight=native
• Checked that the backlight kernel module is loaded and the /sys/class/backlight/acpi_video0 directory exists (both check out)

If anyone has experience with this laptop model or knows of a fix I haven’t tried yet, I’d really appreciate the help!
