单工作站远程PowerShell会话处于ConstrainedLanguage模式问题求助
Problem Description
I'm using a PowerShell script with Invoke-Command to check our company workstations for Meltdown/Spectre vulnerabilities. Most workstations run without issues, but one keeps throwing errors. After digging into the problem, I found that the remote PowerShell session on this workstation is stuck in ConstrainedLanguage mode:
[workstation]: PS [..]> $ExecutionContext.SessionState.LanguageMode ConstrainedLanguage
All other functional workstations have remote sessions running in FullLanguage mode.
We use Active Directory, and all workstations have identical Group Policy configurations. I've compared the applied GPO settings on this problematic workstation against others, and there are no noticeable differences.
What's more, manually trying to switch from ConstrainedLanguage to FullLanguage mode fails immediately with this error:
$ExecutionContext.SessionState.LanguageMode = "Fulllanguage" Cannot set property. Property setting is supported only on core types in this language mode.
We've already configured permissions to allow creating *.psm1 files in the TEMP folder—this setup should let PowerShell run in FullLanguage mode normally.
Steps I've Already Tried
- Followed guidance from
about_remote_troubleshooting: deleted the default session configurationmicrosoft.powershellon the remote workstation, then recreated it usingEnable-PSRemoting. The issue persists, as remote sessions still launch in ConstrainedLanguage mode. - Spent two days searching for relevant solutions online, but haven't found any leads that resolve this specific problem.
Request for Help
Could anyone provide additional troubleshooting suggestions to fix this persistent ConstrainedLanguage mode issue? Thanks in advance!
