Hey everyone,

I’m currently building an interface for a work project and stuck deciding on the right implementation approach—hoping to get some expert takes here.

A fellow mobile dev recommended using a dynamic UITableView for this, but after mapping out my specific requirements, it feels like overkill. All the delegate/datasource setup, cell reuse logic, and configuration steps seem more complex than necessary for what I need to build right now.

So I went ahead and built the interface manually using UIButtons and UILabels laid out directly in my view controller. It works for the current scope, but it feels really clunky and unmaintainable long-term. If I ever need to add more items, update styling across elements, or adjust layouts for different screen sizes, updating all those individual components would be a huge headache.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on:

• Is sticking with the manual UIButtons/UILabels approach feasible if my requirements stay relatively simple?
• Are there middle-ground approaches I’m missing that balance simplicity and future scalability?
• Was the dynamic UITableView recommendation actually more appropriate than I think, and I’m just overestimating the upfront complexity?
