Android Studio Arctic Fox新建Empty Activity项目Gradle sync失败求助

我首次使用Android Studio，下载了最新的Arctic Fox版本，创建Empty Activity空项目后立即触发Gradle Sync started同步操作，很快同步失败，报错信息如下：

4:19 PM Gradle sync started
4:19 PM Gradle sync failed: Cause: invalid code -- missing end-of-block (618 ms)

我没有修改MainActivity.kt中的任何默认代码，代码内容如下：

参考相关公开解决方案我已经尝试清除缓存，但是问题仍然没有解决，不知道该如何继续排查。
