Ruby on Rails 5.2接口/api/popups报500：undefined method `host' for nil:NilClass

这个500内部服务器错误的核心原因很明确：request.referer的值为nil，导致后续调用Addressable::URI.parse(request.referer)返回了nil对象，再尝试调用.host方法时就触发了NoMethodError。

为什么request.referer会是nil？ #

• 用户直接在浏览器地址栏输入/api/popups的URL时，请求不会携带Referer头；
• 使用Postman、curl等工具测试API时，如果没有手动设置Referer头，请求也不会包含这个字段；
• 浏览器的隐私策略或安全设置（比如从HTTPS页面跳转到HTTP页面，或者开启隐私模式）可能会阻止发送Referer头；
• 某些爬虫或自动化请求工具默认不会发送Referer头。

修复方法 #

根据你的业务需求，有几种不同的处理方式：

1. 优雅处理无Referer的情况（推荐）

在popups_for_domain方法中先检查request.referer是否存在，再进行解析，避免nil调用：

def popups_for_domain

  if request.referer.present?
    referer_domain = Addressable::URI.parse(request.referer).host.gsub(/^w{3}\./i, '')
