当然可以实现!虽然你的团队日常开发不需要依赖package.json里的npm包,但为了让Husky的pre-commit钩子(用来跑rubocop)能正常工作,我们可以通过几种简单的方式,让bundle install完成后自动触发npm install,完全不用开发者手动操作。

方法1:用Bundler的post-install钩子(最推荐)

Bundler本身支持自定义的安装后脚本,这是最精准的方式——只有在执行bundle install或bundle update之后才会触发。

步骤很简单:

  • 在项目根目录创建一个post-install.rb文件,内容如下:
# 检查当前目录是否有package.json
if File.exist?('package.json')
  puts "🔍 发现package.json,自动执行npm install..."
  # 执行npm install命令,也可以换成npm ci更稳定
  system('npm install')
end
  • 在项目的Gemfile末尾添加一行,告诉Bundler加载这个钩子:
Bundler::Plugin.add_hook('post-install') do
  load './post-install.rb'
end

这样以后每次跑bundle install,Bundler都会自动帮你执行npm依赖安装,完美适配你的需求。

方法2:Rails初始化脚本(备选方案)

如果你希望这个逻辑和Rails的启动流程绑定,可以在config/initializers目录下加个脚本,但注意这个脚本会在每次启动Rails时运行,不如Bundler钩子精准。

创建config/initializers/auto_npm_install.rb,内容如下:

# 只在开发环境执行,避免影响生产环境
unless Rails.env.production?
  if File.exist?('package.json') && !Dir.exist?('node_modules')
    puts "⚠️ 未检测到node_modules,自动执行npm install..."
    system('npm install')
  end
end

这种方式的问题是:如果开发者只跑了bundle install但没启动Rails,就不会触发npm安装。所以更推荐第一种方法。

优化小技巧:避免重复执行npm install

如果担心每次bundle install都跑npm install太耗时,可以给脚本加个判断,只在需要的时候执行:

# 优化后的post-install.rb
if File.exist?('package.json')
  node_modules_exists = Dir.exist?('node_modules')
  # 检查package-lock.json是否比node_modules更新
  lockfile_needs_update = File.exist?('package-lock.json') && 
                          node_modules_exists &&

  # 只有当node_modules不存在,或者lockfile有更新时才执行
  unless node_modules_exists && !lockfile_needs_update
