I'm running the following code in an AWS Lambda function to create an Amazon Connect instance:

  OutboundCallsEnabled: true

The API response comes back showing success with an ID and ARN:

However, when I check the AWS Connect console dashboard, the instance shows a status of Create error with all details like Instance Alias marked as Unknown. Additionally, calling the listInstances API returns the instance with a status of CREATION_FAILED, and all other properties are null.

I've already tried several troubleshooting steps without any luck:

• Deleted all historical instances (including failed ones)
• Tried different values for InstanceAlias
• Removed the optional InstanceAlias parameter entirely
• Switched AWS regions (tested us-east-1 and us-west-2)

Has anyone encountered this issue before or can offer guidance on how to resolve it?
