使用Chrome Remote Desktop无法访问Google Cloud中的Ubuntu VM

可能的原因及修复步骤 #

• 确认密码设置正确并生效
  通过SSH连接VM后，执行以下命令确保密码正确应用：

sudo passwd $USER

输入新密码两次，然后重启Chrome Remote Desktop服务：

sudo systemctl restart chrome-remote-desktop@$USER

• 禁用自动登录以外的登录选项（针对LightDM桌面）
  如果使用的是Ubuntu默认的LightDM显示管理器，编辑配置文件：

sudo nano /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf

添加或修改以下内容：

[Seat:*]
autologin-user=$USER
autologin-user-timeout=0

按Ctrl+O保存，Ctrl+X退出，然后重启LightDM：

sudo systemctl restart lightdm

• 切换到GDM并配置自动登录（LightDM无效时尝试）
  如果上述方法没用，改用GDM显示管理器：

sudo apt install gdm3
sudo dpkg-reconfigure gdm3

sudo apt purge chrome-remote-desktop
rm -rf ~/.config/chrome-remote-desktop
sudo apt install chrome-remote-desktop
