Laravel关联查询报错：Attempt to read property "department_name" on null

问题背景 #

数据表结构：

运行时出现错误：

Attempt to read property "department_name" on null

错误原因 #

1. 关联外键不匹配：Laravel的belongsTo关联默认会使用「关联模型名+_id」作为外键字段（比如这里默认找department_id），但你的员工表外键是id_department，导致关联查询时无法匹配到对应的部门记录，返回null。
2. 存在无关联部门的员工：即使外键配置正确，部分员工的id_department字段可能为null，或者对应的部门记录已被删除，直接访问$item->department->department_name就会触发“读取null属性”的错误。

解决方案 #

1. 修正关联模型的外键配置 #

在Employee模型的department方法中明确指定外键和关联主键：
