Git 的配置分多层级，既然不在仓库的 .git/config 里，那肯定来自以下两个地方：

• 全局配置：存储在用户主目录的 .gitconfig 文件中（Windows 路径为 C:\Users\<你的用户名>\.gitconfig，Linux/macOS 为 ~/.gitconfig）。执行 git config --global --list 就能查看全局配置里的 credential.helper 项。
• 系统级配置：对整个系统所有用户生效，位置因系统而异：
  • Windows：C:\Program Files\Git\etc\gitconfig
  • Linux/macOS：/etc/gitconfig
    用 git config --system --list 可查看系统级配置内容。

如果不同仓库返回不同的 credential.helper 值，大概率是用了条件包含规则——在全局或系统配置里，通过 [includeIf] 给不同路径的仓库指定不同的配置文件，里面分别设置了 manager 和 helper-selector。

举个例子，全局 .gitconfig 里可能有这样的内容：

[includeIf "gitdir:~/personal-projects/"]
    path = ~/.gitconfig-personal

然后 .gitconfig-work 里配置了 credential.helper=manager，.gitconfig-personal 里配置了 credential.helper=helper-selector。
