describe 'generate hashtag when processed content is under 140 chars' do
  let(:sample_input) { " Hello there thanks for trying my Kata" }
  let(:result) { generateHashtag(sample_input) }

  # 先验证长度符合要求
  it 'produces a hashtag shorter than 140 characters' do
    expect(result.length).to be < 140
  end

  describe 'formatting rules' do
    it 'removes single spaces and adds #' do
      expect(result).to eq("#HelloThereThanksForTryingMyKata")
    end

    it 'removes multiple spaces between words' do
      expect(generateHashtag("    Hello     World   ")).to eq("#HelloWorld")
    end
  end
end

    describe 'length edge cases' do
      it 'returns valid hashtag when processed content is exactly 139 chars' do
        # 处理后(无#)是139,加#后刚好140,符合要求
        long_valid_input = "x" * 139
        result = generateHashtag(long_valid_input)
        expect(result).to start_with("#")
        expect(result.length).to eq(140)
      end

      it 'returns false when processed content hits 140 chars' do
        over_limit_input = "x" * 140
        expect(generateHashtag(over_limit_input)).to be(false)
      end
    end

    describe generateHashtag do
      context 'when processed content length < 140' do
        it 'generates properly formatted hashtag' do
          expect(generateHashtag("hello world")).to eq("#HelloWorld")
        end
      end

      context 'when processed content length >= 140' do
        it 'rejects and returns false' do
          expect(generateHashtag("l" * 140)).to be(false)
        end
      end
    end

    RSpec.shared_examples "valid hashtag" do |input, expected|
      it "outputs #{expected} and stays under 140 chars" do
        result = generateHashtag(input)
        expect(result).to eq(expected)
        expect(result.length).to be < 140
      end
    end

    describe generateHashtag do
      include_examples "valid hashtag", "hello world", "#HelloWorld"
      include_examples "valid hashtag", "   foo bar baz   ", "#FooBarBaz"
    end

  • 单个单词的输入(比如generateHashtag("hello")应该返回#Hello)
