Mac系统下RStudio向GitHub提交项目时遇认证及rpostback-askpass错误

HTTP协议推送报错 #

执行git push -u origin main时触发：

error: cannot run rpostback-askpass: No such file or directory 
fatal: could not read Username for 'https://github.com': Device not configured

手动输入凭据后提示authentication failed，但网页端可正常使用GitHub密码登录。

SSH协议克隆报错 #

已创建并添加SSH密钥至GitHub，但克隆仓库时出现：

Cloning into 'data-science-hw'...
ssh_askpass: exec(rpostback-askpass): No such file or directory Host key verification failed. 
fatal: Could not read from remote repository. Please make sure you have the correct access rights and the repository exists.

环境信息 #

• 系统：Mac
• Git版本：git version 2.32.1 (Apple Git-133)
• 操作环境：RStudio终端

已尝试无效操作 #

• 配置全局user.name和user.email
• 使用GitHub个人访问令牌（PAT）替代密码
• 切换至SSH协议并添加密钥

可行解决办法 #

1. 修复RStudio的askpass配置问题 #

RStudio终端默认依赖rpostback-askpass弹出凭据输入框，若路径配置异常会触发错误：

• 重置Git的askpass路径：

  git config --global --unset core.askpass
  git config --global core.askpass "/Applications/RStudio.app/Contents/MacOS/rpostback-askpass"
  

• 若仍无效，临时禁用askpass，改用终端手动输入：

  git config --global --unset core.askpass
  export GIT_ASKPASS=""
  

  执行后重新尝试git push，输入用户名和GitHub个人访问令牌（PAT）（注意：GitHub已不再支持密码直接推送，必须使用PAT）。

2. 修复SSH主机密钥验证失败 #

• 先清除旧的GitHub主机密钥记录：

  ssh-keygen -R github.com
  

• 验证SSH连接，按提示输入yes确认新的主机密钥：

  ssh -T git@github.com
  

• 确保SSH密钥已加载到ssh-agent：

  eval "$(ssh-agent -s)"
  ssh-add ~/.ssh/id_rsa  # 替换为你的私钥文件名，如id_ed25519
  

  完成后重新尝试克隆或推送操作。

3. 切换至系统终端操作 #

RStudio终端的环境变量可能存在冲突，直接打开Mac自带的「终端」应用，切换到项目目录后执行Git命令，可避开rpostback-askpass的依赖问题。
