Laravel中外键为空时如何从模型返回指定值

问题场景 #

删除countries表中的记录后，cities表对应的country_id会被设为null，此时在Blade模板中直接访问$City->country->name会触发**"Attempt to read property 'name' on null"**错误。

解决方案 #

方法1：为关联设置默认模型 #

修改City模型的country关联方法，使用withDefault()定义关联不存在时的默认模型属性，这样即使外键为空，也能返回一个合法的模型实例，避免报错：

class City extends Model

    public function country(){
        return $this->belongsTo(Country::class,'country_id')->withDefault([
            'name' => '无关联国家',
            'country_code' => 'N/A'
            // 可根据需求添加其他字段的默认值

方法2：Blade模板中使用空安全运算符 #

若不想修改模型，可在Blade中利用PHP 8+的空安全运算符?->，配合??指定默认显示文本，直接在视图层处理空值：

?->会在$City->country为null时终止属性访问，不会抛出错误；??则为结果为null时提供默认显示内容。

方法3：模型中添加访问器 #

如果需要统一管理多个关联属性的默认值，可以给City模型添加自定义访问器：
