PHP natsort()无法正确排序URL问题排查求助

原因分析 #

natsort()是保留数组键名的自然排序函数，排序后数组的索引不会被重置为连续的0、1、2...。你排序后直接取$thumbnail_array[0]，实际上取的还是原数组索引0的元素，也就是未排序前的第一个值。

实际排序后数组的结构是这样的：

[1]: https://example.com/staging/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/image1-263x350.jpeg
[0]: https://example.com/staging/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/image2-263x350.jpeg

只是日志按原索引顺序展示，导致你误以为排序没生效。

解决方法 #

有两种常用处理方式：

1. 排序后重置数组索引，再取第一个元素
   使用array_values()重置索引：

$image_array = get_post_meta($postID, "image_array", true);
$thumbnail_array = array();
for ($i = 0; $i < count($image_array ); $i++) {
    $thumbnail_array[] = $image_array [$i]['thumbnail'];
}
natsort($thumbnail_array);
// 重置索引为连续数字
$thumbnail_array = array_values($thumbnail_array);
return $thumbnail_array[0];

2. 使用reset()函数获取排序后的第一个元素
   reset()会将数组指针指向第一个元素，并返回该元素的值，无需关心索引：

$image_array = get_post_meta($postID, "image_array", true);
$thumbnail_array = array();
for ($i = 0; $i < count($image_array ); $i++) {
    $thumbnail_array[] = $image_array [$i]['thumbnail'];
}
natsort($thumbnail_array);
// 获取排序后的第一个元素
return reset($thumbnail_array);
