Trouble: Universal Links Won't Launch My App from Safari
Hey folks, I've been stuck with a Universal Links issue these days—I can't get Safari to launch my app at all. I've gone through several setup steps and tests but still can't figure out what's wrong. Here's all the details I have:
- I've deployed the
apple-app-site-associationfile athttps://myDomain.nl/.well-known/apple-app-site-association. The file content is:{ "applinks": { "apps": [], "details": [ { "appID": "5LKNOW4KJS.app.appname.com", // teamID.app bundle identifier "paths": ["*"] } ] } } - In Xcode, I've added
applinks:myDomain.nlto the Associated Domains section, and the "associated domains" capability is enabled. - I tested both the app installed directly via Xcode and the TestFlight build—neither one launches via Universal Links.
- I tried searching for
swdcin the Mac Console to check my iPhone's logs, but got no results at all. - I've validated the AASA file, and using
curlto request it returns a properly formatted JSON with HTTP statusHTTP/1.0 200 Foundandcontent-type: application/json.
Could anyone help me troubleshoot what's causing this failure?
