低版本MongoDB无需$switch/$cond更新ethnicity属性值方案求助

使用低版本MongoDB执行包含$cond或$switch的更新操作时，出现报错：

MongoServerError: The dollar ($) prefixed field '$switch' in 'elems.1.val.$switch' is not valid for storage.

集合文档结构如下：

需求：将type为ethnicity的元素的val值按规则替换：Asian → East Asian，White → caucasian。原报错查询语句如下：

报错原因 #

低版本MongoDB（4.2以下）不支持聚合管道形式的更新操作，无法在updateMany的更新参数中直接使用$switch这类聚合表达式计算字段值。此时MongoDB会将$switch当作普通字段名处理，但字段名不允许以$开头，因此触发报错。另外原语句中存在字段名拼写错误（集合结构是attribute，查询写成了attributes），会导致匹配不到目标文档。

解决方案 #

方案1：分批次执行更新（最兼容低版本） #

针对每个替换规则单独执行updateMany，配合数组过滤器精准匹配目标元素：
