• Click on the TYPE 1 column header in your pivot table.
• Hold your left mouse button and drag it left until you see a vertical indicator line appear to the left of TYPE 2. Release the button to drop it there.
• Repeat the same action for TYPE 2: drag it to the left of TYPE 3.
• Any blank columns should automatically stay out of the way if there’s no data associated with them, but if one still shows up, right-click the blank column header and select Hide to remove it.

Method 2: Adjust Order via Field Settings #

If you prefer a more structured approach, use the pivot table’s field settings:

• Click any cell in your pivot table to bring up the PivotTable Fields pane (usually on the right side of your screen).
• Locate the "Quote Type" field in the Columns section of the pane.
