Google Artifact Registry删除Docker镜像遇“Precondition check failed”问题求助

问题重现 #

执行自动清理脚本时，大量镜像无法删除，命令及报错如下：

gcloud -q artifacts docker images delete --delete-tags <repository>@<digest>

返回错误：

Digests:
- <repository>@<digest>
Delete request issued.
Waiting for operation [<operation-id>] to complete...failed.                                                                                                                      
ERROR: (gcloud.artifacts.docker.images.delete) Precondition check failed.

添加--verbosity debug仅返回模糊栈信息，UI删除同样失败，管理员权限无改善，无法删除的镜像数量持续增加。

排查与解决步骤 #

1. 检查仓库保留策略 #

部分无法删除的镜像可能命中了仓库的自动保留规则，先查看当前仓库的保留配置：

gcloud artifacts repositories describe <REPO_NAME> --location=<REGION>

若输出中包含retentionPolicy字段，说明存在保留规则。可临时更新或删除保留策略后重试删除：

# 更新保留策略（例如保留最近30天）
gcloud artifacts repositories update <REPO_NAME> --location=<REGION> --retention-days=30

# 或删除保留策略
gcloud artifacts repositories update <REPO_NAME> --location=<REGION> --clear-retention-policy

2. 检查镜像删除操作状态 #

部分镜像可能处于后台删除pending状态，导致重复删除请求失败。查看目标镜像的关联操作：

gcloud artifacts operations describe <OPERATION_ID> --location=<REGION>

若操作状态为IN_PROGRESS，等待一段时间后重试；若状态为FAILED，查看error字段的详细信息（可能包含具体预检查失败原因）。

3. 用API调用获取详细错误 #

gcloud CLI的错误提示模糊，直接调用Artifact Registry API可获取更精准的错误信息：
