问题原因 #

Google Books API返回的totalItems并非精确的搜索结果总数，而是Google基于当前搜索参数给出的近似估算值。当你调整startIndex进行分页时，API会重新计算这个估算值，导致数值出现波动——这是API的固有特性，不是你的代码逻辑问题。

解决方案 #

核心思路是首次搜索时缓存totalItems值，后续分页请求不再使用新返回的totalItems，而是用缓存值来计算总页数，避免页码混乱。
