GeoPandas中无法设置图例为横向的问题排查

核心原因 #

你遇到的问题根源在于**COUNTYFP是类别/字符串型数据**，而GeoPandas官网示例里的POP2010是数值型数据，两者对应的图例生成逻辑完全不同：

• 数值型列绘图时，GeoPandas调用matplotlib的colorbar生成图例，legend_kwds里的参数是传给colorbar的，所以label、orientation都是有效参数；
• 类别型列绘图时，GeoPandas调用matplotlib的Legend对象生成图例，而Legend的初始化参数里根本没有label这个选项——你同时传了label和orientation，就触发了TypeError。

两种解决办法 #

1. 把COUNTYFP转为数值型（最简单）

如果你的FIPS代码是纯数字字符串，直接转成整数/浮点数，就能复用原来的代码逻辑：

ca_counties['COUNTYFP'] = ca_counties['COUNTYFP'].astype(int)
ca_counties.plot(column='COUNTYFP',
                 legend=True, 
                 legend_kwds={"label": "FIPS", "orientation": "horizontal"},
                )

转成数值后，GeoPandas会用colorbar生成图例，label和orientation都能正常生效。

2. 保留类别型，调整图例参数

如果必须保留COUNTYFP的类别/字符串类型，有两种方式：

• 把label改成title（Legend对象支持title参数）：

  ca_counties.plot(column='COUNTYFP',
                   legend=True, 
                   legend_kwds={"title": "FIPS", "orientation": "horizontal"},
                  )
  

• 先绘图，再手动给图例设置标签：

  ax = ca_counties.plot(column='COUNTYFP',
                        legend=True, 
                        legend_kwds={"orientation": "horizontal"},
                       )
  ax.get_legend().set_label("FIPS")
  

补充验证 #

你之前说单独用loc参数没问题，是因为loc是Legend的有效初始化参数，而label不是——这也侧面印证了上述逻辑。
