I'm working on adding Google Sign-In functionality to my React project using the gapi library, and the app is deployed on Netlify. The feature works flawlessly in Chrome, but it's completely unresponsive or broken when accessed in Safari.

Here's some key details about the project:

• Source code is hosted on Github
• You can test the live behavior through the demo website

I've been troubleshooting this for a while but can't pinpoint why Safari is causing issues. Would anyone be able to help diagnose what's going wrong here?
