TAL条件中not结合默认值表达式未按预期求值问题

我无法理解为何第12行的<h2>标签未出现在渲染后的HTML结果中，为什么条件condition="not people.not_existing_prop|False"未求值为True？

如第13行的<h3>标签所示，我已通过tal:define找到解决办法，但仍想理解第12行的行为为何与预期不符。

原因分析 #

问题出在运算符优先级和Chameleon对未定义值的处理逻辑上：

1. 未定义值的处理：当访问people.not_existing_prop时，因为people字典中没有这个键，Chameleon会返回一个内部的Undefined对象，用来表示“不存在的值”。
2. 运算符优先级顺序：not作为一元运算符，优先级高于|（默认值运算符）。所以not people.not_existing_prop|False会被解析为(not people.not_existing_prop) | False，而非你预期的not (people.not_existing_prop|False)。
3. 表达式求值过程：
   • 先计算not people.not_existing_prop：由于people.not_existing_prop是Undefined，Chameleon无法将其转换为有效的布尔值，因此这个子表达式的结果仍然是Undefined。
   • 接着计算Undefined | False：根据默认值运算符的规则，当左边是Undefined时，会返回右边的False。
   • 最终整个条件的结果是False，所以<h2>标签不会被渲染。

而<h3>标签能正常显示，是因为tal:define先通过people.non_existing_prop|False把未定义值替换成了False，之后not prop就是True，满足渲染条件。

解决办法 #

只需要用括号改变运算符优先级，确保先处理默认值再取反：

这样people.not_existing_prop|False先得到False，not False结果为True，标签就能正常渲染了。
