将R升级至4.3.3（2024-02-29 ucrt）后，在Windows 10 64位系统上使用RStudio（版本 2022.2.3.492）时触发报错：

R graphics engine version 16 is not supported by this version of RStudio. The Plots tab will be disabled until a newer version of RStudio is installed.

检查RStudio内置更新显示已是最新版，但绘图仅能在外部新窗口打开，无法在RStudio的Plots标签页展示。尝试以下操作后问题加剧：

• 通过「工具>全局选项>R Markdown」将“show output preview in”设置为"window"
• 勾选"Show output inline for all R Markdown documents"
• 运行代码 options(device = "RStudioGD")

执行后绘图完全无法显示，出现新错误：

解决方法 #

1. 手动安装最新版RStudio（根本解决） #

你的RStudio版本2022.2.3.492发布于2022年，不支持R 4.3.x版本引入的图形引擎16。即使内置更新提示“已是最新版”，也可能是更新源同步延迟导致，需手动下载并安装对应Windows 64位的最新RStudio版本。

2. 临时替代方案（无法立即更新时） #

如果暂时无法更新RStudio，可切换到其他图形设备来查看绘图：
