Rails迁移创建联合表遇SQLite索引已存在错误，找不到对应索引如何解决？

问题原因 #

Rails的t.references（或t.belongs_to）方法默认会自动为对应的外键字段（此处为rental_car_id）创建索引。你在迁移中既使用了t.references :rental_car，又手动添加了t.index :rental_car_id，这就导致重复创建同名索引，触发SQLite的异常。

解决方案 #

方案1：移除手动添加的重复索引 #

修改迁移代码，删除单独的t.index :rental_car_id行即可：

如果需要对rental_car_id的索引做额外配置（比如指定自定义名称、添加唯一性约束），可以直接在t.references中通过index选项定义，避免重复：

t.references :rental_car, null: false, foreign_key: true, index: { name: 'custom_rental_car_idx' }

方案3：处理迁移中途失败的残留索引 #

如果之前迁移执行到一半失败，数据库中已存在index_orders_clients_rental_cars_on_rental_car_id索引但迁移记录未更新，可手动删除索引后重新迁移：

1. 启动Rails控制台：rails c
2. 执行SQL删除索引：

3. 重新运行迁移：rails db:migrate
