OpenSUSE Leap 15.4下smartd服务启动失败（提示“No devices to monitor”）问题求助

我在ASUS L210笔记本上运行OpenSUSE Leap 15.4，最近碰到了smartd服务启动失败的问题，先贴一下服务状态的输出：

因为我有一个可移动的sd[x]设备，有时候会接上使用，有时候不会，所以我修改了/etc/smartd.conf里的配置行：

把原来的

DEVICESCAN

改成了

DEVICESCAN -d removable

我查了smartd.conf的手册，关于-d removable的说明是：

removable - the device or its media is removable. This indicates to smartd that it should continue (instead of exiting, which is the default behavior) if the device does not appear to be present when smartd is started.

按道理这样配置后，即使可移动设备没接上，smartd也应该继续运行而不是退出，但现在开机时服务还是启动失败了，请问我哪里操作错了吗？
