测试RSpec Spec Helper：如何在after钩子中预期测试失败

我写了个RSpec的Spec Helper，它在after钩子里检查方法调用的输出，这部分逻辑已经测通了。现在我想写个测试，验证当通过元数据引入这个Helper时，目标测试能正确失败。我试了用around钩子，能检测到example.exception是预期的ValidateOutput::Error，但不知道怎么“重置”这个异常，让当前测试被标记为成功。我试了两种写法：

第一种写法：

RSpec.describe(Example, type: :interactor) do
  around do |example|
    example.run
    expect(example.exception).to be_a(ValidateOutput::Error)
  end

  it "is included with metadata" do
    output
  end
end

这种写法下，测试还是会被判失败，因为异常没被清除。

第二种写法会导致同一个测试报两个错误：

RSpec.describe(Example, type: :interactor) do
  around do |example|
    expect do
      example.run
    end.to raise_error(ValidateOutput::Error)
  end

  it "is included with metadata" do
    output
  end
end

怎么让RSpec识别这是预期的错误，判定测试通过？

你可以调用RSpec示例对象的clear_exception方法，在确认捕获到预期异常后清除它，这样RSpec就会把这个测试标记为成功。修改后的代码如下：

RSpec.describe(Example, type: :interactor) do
  around do |example|
    example.run
    expect(example.exception).to be_a(ValidateOutput::Error)
    example.clear_exception # 清除异常，让测试通过
  end

  it "is included with metadata" do
    output
  end
end

原因很简单：example.run执行后，Helper的after钩子抛出的ValidateOutput::Error会被存在example.exception里。用expect验证异常符合预期后，调用clear_exception就能重置这个异常状态，RSpec就不会再把测试判为失败了。

至于第二种写法出现两个错误的问题，是因为example.run会让RSpec先记录下这个异常，而expect { ... }.to raise_error又会捕获一次异常，导致RSpec同时报告Helper抛出的原始异常和expect块的验证结果（哪怕验证通过，原始异常已经被记录了），所以会出现两条错误提示。用clear_exception的方式就能避开这个问题。
