问题根源
当前的Swift引擎每次调用swift repl都会启动全新进程,会话完全独立,导致之前代码块定义的变量无法在后续代码块中访问。
解决方案:使用持久化Swift REPL会话
通过processx包创建持续运行的Swift REPL进程,让所有代码块共享同一个会话,从而实现变量复用。
1. 安装依赖包
先确保安装processx包:

2. 重定义Swift引擎
修改setup代码块中的引擎定义:

3. 测试效果
第一个代码块定义变量:
let helloText: String = "Hello" print(helloText)
第二个代码块直接复用变量:
let punctuationMark: String = "!" let helloTwo: String = helloText + punctuationMark print(helloTwo)
此时第二个代码块会正常输出Hello!,不会出现变量未找到的错误。
注意事项
- 若代码执行耗时较长,可适当延长
Sys.sleep()的等待时间,确保代码执行完成后再读取输出。 - Swift中
let定义的常量无法重复定义,后续代码块若重复定义同一常量仍会报错,这是Swift语言特性,并非引擎问题。 - 渲染完成后,
knit_exit_hook会自动关闭REPL进程,避免资源占用。
