使用.NET Stream.IO Chat API的ChannelClient通过ID获取频道时，能成功拿到Channel对象，但返回的Messages属性始终为空。通过Stream.IO Chat API Explorer确认，该频道确实存在且包含多条消息。

问题原因 #

• GetOrCreateAsync方法的定位限制：该方法核心作用是确保频道存在（不存在则创建）并返回频道元数据，默认不包含消息数据。即使传入MessagesPagination参数，也不会触发消息查询逻辑，因此channel.Messages始终为空。
• API职责划分：Stream Chat API将频道元数据查询与消息查询拆分为独立接口，GetOrCreateAsync属于频道元数据接口，消息查询需要调用专门的消息接口。

解决方法 #

方法1：使用GetMessagesAsync直接获取消息（推荐） #

调用ChannelClient.GetMessagesAsync方法直接查询指定频道的消息，这是Stream官方推荐的方式：

如果你的Stream .NET SDK版本支持，可以通过ChannelGetRequest的Include参数指定包含消息字段，实现获取频道时同时返回消息：
